Wen founded WK Technology Fund in 1989, then one of the
first non-corporate VC funds in Taiwan. Wen is the founding
chairman of the Venture Capital Association in Taiwan and
has played a key role in fostering the growth of the venture
capital industry in Taiwan. Prior to founding the firm, Wen
served in various management positions at Hewlett-Packard
Taiwan, most recently as Chairman and President from 1979
through 1989. Before Hewlett-Packard, Wen served in a variety
of management positions at IBM in the US. Wen holds a B.S.
in Electrical Engineering from National Chen Kung University
in Taiwan and an M.S. in System Science from Michigan State
University.
