Eric Chu brings more than eleven years of experience as venture capitalist and international IT business management to the firm. At WK, Eric Chu is focusing on investments in semiconductor, TFT-LCD component, and wireless communication sectors with a particular emphasis on emerging growth opportunities in China IT field. Eric Chu serves on the board of Taiwan Nano Electro-Optical Technology Co, AV Tech Corporation, and has led lots of WK's investments in Greater China area.

Prior to joining WK, Eric Chu worked at CVM (China Venture Management ) fund, where he invested in and worked closely with several growth-stage IC design companies, including Alcor Micro Cororation, Skymedi Corporation and Service & Quality (S&Q) technology, all the three companies went public in Taiwan OTC market successfully in the past 5 years.

Earlier in his career, Eric Chu worked for Hewlett-Packard Taiwan as an Sales Director for its Enterprise Computing Business Division and Sales manager for Testing & Measurement Organization. At that time he covered a lot of start-ups.

Eric Chu hold his MBA degree from National Chung-Kung University and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from National Tsing-Hua University in Taiwan.
